IIP Selection!

Okay, yours truly have submitted my choices for my IIP (attachment) already.

As shown above, my first choice would be Spectrum Worldwide Events, and second choice would be Pico Art International. 3 positions and 6 positions respectively. Spectrum only offered 3 positions, but based on what I have seen on Twitter, at least 10 people put Spectrum as their first choice :( Ti gong bo pi me squeeze into Spectrum! If Spectrum fails, please lemme squeeze into Pico! Pico also good lah uh, within walking distance from my house. Save on transport! :)

&& I think I should stop procrastinating about my driving lessons. Fuck my current instructor. Bomberman number 1! Am so gonna find a new instructor :)

PAP Community Foundation Conference:

We sacrificed a day which should be meant for lessons just to help out in this event, but this event does not worth our sacrifices. I swear this is the worst event that I've ever participated in. The organizer's a failure. She looks down on us, and is not appreciative at all. && Can you imagine her wearing a pair of bright orange slippers with black stockings walking around at the registration counter especially when guests have already arrived!? Allocation of roles failed badly too, most of us are idling in the resting room with nothing to do. Therefore, we started taking pictures with PeiYi's DSLR! :)

25 May 2011: Dinner with besties after school! :D

Dinner @ Ion's Imperial Treasure Noodle & Congee House. The restaurant sells Chinese cuisine. Thumbs up for the food, but I feel that it's a lil too pricey! As usual, neverending chats over dinner! :) This is what we are; & I definitely agree with this:

Esprit:

Oh well, my wish finally came true. After much complaints done on both my twitter and blog, I got a pay rise from Esprit, like finally. But but but, that doesn't make much of a difference. I'm tendering soon anyway. Too late, bitches! Besides the pay rise, Esprit also offered an incentive of SGD50, open for all part-timers. To get this incentive, we must work on all the weekends during June. I'm so gonna get this SGD50! & because of the pay rise, B is persuading me to stay. Even though the pay now is quite attractive, I'm not gonna stay. This place's too pathetic, not fit for humans! Just 1 more month, I'll be freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

27th May 2011: Gathering with part-timers after school! :D

So, I met the part-timers at Bugis for dinner @ Shabu Shabu, and pool @ Pool Fusion. It was a great day out with them :) Somebody please plan the next outing! Badminton pleaseeeee, need to exercise my fats off! :)

Hmmm.. I've just received the list of companies to select for my upcoming IIP (attachment). 2 choices per person. This is so stressful, because there are only 1 or 2 slots offered by the companies that I'm interested in. If those 2 choices fail, RP will send me to TRCC for a position where no allowance would be given, or worse, I might be sent to LTA for a road sweeper position :( Have to make my choices wisely. Lady luck, please shine on me :)

07 May 2011: Advanced Mother's Day Celebration :D

Celebration of Mother's Day in advance @ Seoul Garden with the usual Saturday Clique. Frankly speaking, I don't like the food there, it can be more awful. $30++ per pax, spells heartache. I would rather spend this $30+ for the Japanese Steamboat @ Iluma :( Nevertheless, the evening was heartening with the presence of my young-at-heart mum! :)

So.. nothing much happened lately. It's all about school, work, school & work. My life is dull & monotonous, h8 it much. I wish I could just spend my weekends at home, or rather with family & friends. To think of it, I've been working all my teen life. 6 years.. I've wasted my youth for bloody 6 years :( & the cycle goes on and on again. After tendering @ Esprit, I will go on to my attachment, and it goes on and on. Oh man, so sick and tired of this cycle. I want to break this cycle so badly.

I need a getaway badly. I wanna visit Batam again. Life there is (Y). Eat, massage, sleep, eat & sleep. Or maybe I should visit Bangkok / Taiwan. Life there should be (Y)(Y). Shop, eat, sleep, shop, eat & sleep! But.. that's when I have the money to travel again. Just paid my school fees, so I'm left with nothing for the moment :(

Life sucks, for now.

Sorry for the hiatus, am too busy with school and work. Actually, I've nothing much to blog about, it's back to the usual mundane lifestyle. School on weekdays, work on weekends. No life, can't stand it either. Oh, except for the meet up with SiokYi, and Joseph with Boyfriend last Tuesday. So long since I last seen Joseph, Almost 3 years I guess?

School:

It's only the start of Week 2, but I already feel quite demoralised. Why? My grades sucked, & some of my facilitators cannot make it. Imagine you asked her about one of the events company in Singapore, and she goes, 'hmmmmm..' You know what I mean ya! Also, I have to dress in formal for all 5 days, no joke, really can perspire like free. Conclusion: School sucks, h8 school.

Work:

Management's quite smart now. Since I won't pick up the phone, they don't use company's phone to call me, they use their personal handphone to call me. Call me, not to tell me about increasing my salary, call me but to ask me to work. You want me to work, you wait longer. One incident that made me fed up: This person, requested all the part timers to work today since we do not have school or attachment today, but all of us rejected this person, so this person said, 'You all don't want to help me, so don't expect me to help you next time round.' Like hello? I don't need your help, & oh like you've helped me before. Oh well~ Conclusion: Work sucks, h8 work too.

Life sucks, for now. Will update again if there are any interesting stuffs/events.Till then.

Bon voyage, childhood friend :)

Feel ultra good for not working on a Saturday! Spent the evening having dinner with Mother, Ben's family, and Ahbee's family at Food Trail located @ The Singapore Flyer. We ordered food items such as satay bee hoon, oyster omelette, chicken rice, bak kut teh, fried prawn noodles, and dim sum. Besides, we ordered desserts/beverages as well, such as ice balls, and bird's nest drinks. Since it is located at CBD area, you can imagine how expensive those food items cost, but to my dismay, the food aren't that nice :(

Anyway, this would be the last time I'll be seeing Ben till August or even September :( He's flying off to Guang Zhou (China) next Monday for his attachment :( Gonna miss him like how his mother's gonna miss him! :( Whatever it is, I hope he'll not worry his mother by taking great care of himself. Have a safe journey. Bon voyage, childhood friend! :)

Not looking forward to work tomorrow, especially when work sucks like no tomorrow. Not looking forward to school reopening, especially when school implemented so many new rules. I need more rest.. :(

Everyday I'm shuffling~

Jealousyyyyy:

AhLim can drive officially in Singapore already! Accompanied him to CDC in the afternoon to get his license done after idling for so long. Jealous maxxxxx! Both AhLim and SiokYi can drive officially in Singapore already! Me, am only learning driving with a provisional driving license niaaaaa, so sad sia :( Gonna arrange driving lessons with my instructor every 2 to 3 days after school since he conducts lessons at Woodlands area too! Am gonna strive to obtain it by the end of this year (Hopefully..) Hate to control the clutch sia, often fail to feel the right biting point, causing the car to stall and stall and stall. This is the only problem that I'm facing when I drive. Kanasai. Gonna master this technique by hard, so the car won't stall!

Day 3 of enjoyment:

After CDC, travelled to Cineleisure for movie with AhLim. Justin Bieber: Never Say Never! Okay, I think it's not worth at all spending $6.50 each to catch his documentary in a cinema, really. Okay, the movie wasn't that baddddd, at least it's kinda funny! Anyway, after the movie, went to Orchard Central for Sakae Sushi buffet! :)

Okay a bit random, but I wanna learn shuffle from AhLim already, so that we can dance together next time hehehe! Love AhLim's shuffle, gonna secretly take a video of him shuffling if there's a chance hiakhiakhiak! :) Everyday I'm shufflinggggg~

Okay, I wanna go watch my drama already! Byeeeee!

Day 2 of enjoyment:

Entered JB with AhLim today! Did some shopping there, but did not manage to get anything except for some facial products! Speaking of facial products, I wanted to get Ecovert's toner and moisturizer from TheFaceShop, but to my dismay, the beauty consultant told me that Ecovert series discontinued! For a moment, I was at a loss, because I've been using that for years already, and suddenly it strikes me that those products are not available anymore!? In the end, after browsing products from SkinFood and Etude House, me decided to try out Etude House's moisturizer. Hopefully, the product would turn out good for my face! :(

Besides shopping, we ate a lot too! Hiakhiakhiak. Oh, & I did manicure, but not pedicure because of my chipped toe nail :( & my toe nail doesn't seem to be growing. Sighhhhh, when can I start pedicure treatments for my feet again!? Omg, shall not bring up this topic anymore, makes me sad only :(

So, LEO finally published the much anticipated class list in the evening! Different venues, and different classmates everyday. H8 this, high chance of entering the class wrongly! As for the people, some are my formal classmates, some are people whom I don't know. Whatever it is, year 3 semester 1, please be a good one, cos this is the last semester in school yeaaaaa!

Anyway, I just checked my academic calender for the coming semester. As you can see, the last day of week 15 actually falls on 15th of August, and it would be UT3 after that. Yayyyyy, because of this, I'll tender on 23rd of July instead of 31st of July (With 7 working days of notice), so that my last working day in Esprit will be on 14th of August, and I'll have enough time to rest and prepare for my UT3! :)

Long hair no, short hair yes!

So, 14 continuous working days are finally over! It's really not that easy to pull through especially when I'm requested to work OT everyday from Monday to Friday, almost 12-13 hours per day from 8.30am to 9/10pm. I'll reach home at 11plus, bathe, and get to sleep almost immediately so that I can wake up on time at 6.30am to prepare, also, have enough energy to work the next day. That was my life for the past 2 weeks. The supervisor even urged me to stay for another few more days, but I was way too tired, so I decided to reject his proposition. But these days are finally over, and I'm enjoying myself to the fullest now :D

Day 1 of enjoyment:

Visited the salon, Chapter 2 with Mum and AhLim today. It have been long since I last went out with Mum! For a moment, I missed my not-so-long hairdo few months ago. But, short hairdo suits me more, agree? Not a very happy experience at the salon today. Initially, I wanted my haircut at Essensuals, but there was no stylists available, so I went to Chapter 2 instead. The thing that I dislike about Chapter 2 is, the stylists love to thin my hair. Hello, isn't my hair thin enough!? So now, my hair looks kinda flat, me no like :(

Since the weather was kinda cool in the evening, we decided to have steamboat for dinner! As usual, eat and eat and eat non-stop. Shopping aftermath, wanted to get some formal-looking tops and bottoms for my lessons next semester, but to no avail. Only managed to get one top :( & when we were on our way home after shopping, me fell down from the stairs at the MRT station. Mum was holding my hand when I fall, but thankfully, she didn't fall, cos I was using my weight to support her from falling. Coincidently, there were 2 nurses from Raffles Medical behind us, so they came forward and ask if I am okay. Yup, it's ultra embarrassing I swear. Hope no one manage to take any photos and post it on Stomp! :(

Alright, that's my day 1 of enjoyment, also embarrassment. Gonna visit JB for some shopping and eating tomorrow, hehehe. Anyway, class list's coming out tomorrow, I think everyone's camping at LEO now! Please please please, let me be in the same class with nice people! :) & I just received an email from school regarding my school fees. SGD1,100, good game. I think I'm gonna pay it off using my salary from Arvato :( My hard-earned money, goes into my damn school fees, angry! :(

Alright, shall continue my drama with the company of my chips hehehe :) Bye!

Toe pretty pretty no more :(

Sorry for the gross picture above. I didn't know how my nail ended up with one big patch of blood clot within, which eventually turned out to be hollow. I can literally lift up my nail without any pain. Thus, I have no choice but to cut it off, while waiting for it to grow again. Okay, so now I can't paint my nail with pretty pretty colours already, this is so saddening. Hopefully my nail grows fully in no time! :( & Don't you guys think my toe looks like a sad face too? :(

Been working for the past few days at Arvato. Waking up as early as 6.30am to prepare for work is a torture. No difference from travelling to school at Woodlands because the company is located at Admiralty! Anyway, Love and me will be extended to work till 12th of April instead of 31th of March, because the supervisors there like us a lot, hehehehehe. The people there are nice too, except for one, who thinks he's the boss there. Oh well, this is for you! _l_

Will be working for 14 days continuously (Combining Arvato & Esprit). It's only day 3 today. Good luck to Love and me siolzxzxz, really. We've gotta pay for our own school fees. We aren't one of those lucky chaps out there who doesn't need to worry about their school fees at all, because they have their parents to pay for them. On a happier note, when the pay arrives, really song to maxxxxx tio bo! Hehehehehe! At least I'm able to use portion of the money to fulfill some of my desires :)

Okay, now the sad thing is, gotta be back to Esprit to work for the weekends. Shucks, really. I would have resigned if it's not for the sake that Esprit allows me to work only during weekends during school days to earn the pathetic amount of money just to pay off all my bills. I fucking h8 Esprit to the extent that I've already planned to tender on the 31st of July. Motherfuckingly 4 more months, 16 more days to go, time please pass faster! Till then I'll have my attachment to rely on. Fuck yeah no more do I need to rely on this dog place! :)

Quite a long post though, I have too much things to rant on. Afterall, I'm not a lucky chap who doesn't need to worry about $$$ :(

Belated birthday present! :)

Out with YunRui and SiokYi today! First stop to Marina Square for Kbox, and then to Bugis for Japanese steamboat buffet at Iluma. The Japanese steamboat is different from any other steamboat in terms of soup bases. I like the miso soup base, in particular, though I know my hair would just drop with its speed multiplied by 2 or even 3 times :( Shall visit the restaurant once in a while then, provided if I have extra money. FYI, the Japanese steamboat cost almost $30 (inclusive of GST and service charge) for each person, which I find it quite expensive :(

&&, would like to thank both YunRui and SiokYi for the Agnes B iPhone hard case for my belated birthday present. I love it many :)

&&& am going back to Arvato for work with Love tomorrow and the day after! Working means extra money! Spells h-a-p-p-i-n-e-s-s! Hiakhiakhiak :) Also, it's just 2 more days to month end. Month end means pay day! Spells d-o-u-b-l-e h-a-p-p-i-n-e-s-s! Muahahahahaha! Days without money are finally gonna be over.. :)

Before this special day ends, I wish myself a happy 20th birthday :)

Just arrived back in Singapore this evening around 7pm. Boyfriend and me both had a great time enjoying ourselves at Batam, especially the massage at The Spa Secret! The process was embarrassing at first. Since it was a full body massage, I had to take off everything on my body. Yes, including my panties, leaving me with just a piece of disposable underwear. Except for that embarrassing moment, the whole therapy was very very relaxing. I can totally fly like a G6 after the whole therapy. No joke! Shall bring my mother along next time once I'm loaded with money, hehehe :D

Checked into the hotel after the therapy, and did activities like swimming and suntanning. Seafood dinner aftermath. Omg I tell you, our seafood dinner costs only around SGD13! Freaking cheap I swear! Omg I swear I'll visit Batam for their massage therapy and food once again! Hiakhiakhiak :D

I would really like to show you how Boyfriend and me enjoyed at Batam, but.. I was busily enjoying myself for the whole trip, hence, totally forgotten about capturing our enjoyable moments in my camera :( It's alright, most importantly, Boyfriend and me enjoyed ourselves to the fullest! :D

Oh yes, a big thank you to all my friends who wished me happy birthday through every means like facebook and twitter! Greatly appreciated (L)! Not forgetting Boyfriend for surprising me with a birthday cake! Great great greatly appreciated too (L)(L)(L)! :D

A new beginning :)

Greetings! :)

Just made a last minute decision to revive my blog, because I miss blogging, seriously! Okay, I just deleted all the previous posts (ever since 2006) on this blog. This is not a harsh decision, I just feel that we should look forward instead of clinging on to the past, right? So, yup :)

Right now, am having my holidays till 18th of April. Held several temp jobs just to earn that lil bit of pocket money. From working as a retail assistant at Esprit to visual merchandising at Tekmedia, to logistics at Arvato, am doing all these just to earn some pocket money to fulfill my desires. Sometimes I feel great because I'm spending money earned by myself, but sometimes, I feel pathetic because I'm working like a slave just for the sake of money. Contradicting huh, but this is life :(

& oh, I just received my UT3 results as well as my overall GPA today. B+ for macroeconomics and human resource management, B for event logistics and management accounting, last but not least C+ for strategic thinking. The grade for strategic thinking is the only spoiler, but it's okay, because I still manage to score 3 B+s and 2 Bs for my module grades. The best part is, my overall GPA went up by 0.08, adding up to 3.08. Oh my god so happy for myself! :D

Putting aside work & school, am going over to Batam with Love this coming Thursday in celebration of my 20th birthday! Pretty excited, because this is my first time visiting Batam. Definitely enjoy myself and be back with many pictures and share them here, heehee :)
